The Oscars® this year will be broadcast on ABC. But of course the real show starts a couple of hours before. Who's going to be ragging on the parade of stars this year? I don't care, as long as there's an alternative to the Rivers' rants.

The host is Chris Rock, which will be a breath of fresh air.
