The stalling economy, Republicans and the panic reflex

Future debt & future benefit

When I listen to the more conservative politicians explain why we should pursue an economic policy of austerity, I hear that to do otherwise will saddle unborn millions with debt.

I think of an old saw about planting shade trees under which you will never sit. Maybe the next generation ends up paying from them, but they also get the benefit.

Less poetic, the great bridges in the San Francisco Bay serve people who were not yet born when they were built.

It's not like the defense spending and war which another generation will pay for, but which is hard to use, unless the argument is made that liberty would otherwise have been lost.

The infrastructure lasts and another generation may end up paying for good things that another generation created.

This ahs something to do with our consumerism and how market would be progressive. And maybe those markets could increease their profits in everyday stock amrket economy.Maybe this will took great great monetary funds for the companies to achieve such conditions from bank crisis. And Im pretty sure most of them had their personal unsecured loan for personal expenditures just like this.
