V. "Women don't write commentary, don't come up with new ideas."
I take particular offense to this one. My stuff is nothing if not original. I'm the only disabled, pansexual, Native American, Pagan Woman blogger I know of. If there's another one out there, get in touch with me. We can start a movement.
In the mean time, who else is writing about the affects of moral and intellectual development on framing political issues? See "How to talk to a Christian" for more on that.
I'm the only person I've ever known to write about gender reparations. No, I'm not kidding. Feminists have no sense of humor, remember? See "Equality, hell, how about Reparations?!"
Need a detailed comparison of BushCo policies and fascism? See "Yes, it can!".
How many political bloggers are seriously advocating matriarchy? See Mothers and Others - mapping the new realities" parts I, II and III.
Who else writes about hate crimes against Pagans and Satanists?
Who else can say that Bush says their religion is not a religion? Who writes about Paganism and Atheisim? About Religious freedom from anything other than a Judeo-Christian perspective?
Who else wrote "A Crash Course in the Christian Supremacist Movement"?
My Cowboys have always been Heroes
You get the drift. I specifically don't cover topics that everyone else is doing. I don't see the point in repeating what everyone else is saying. I write when I have something new to say or a new way to say something, and I'm not the only woman out here doing that. You guys look around a little - you'll be amazed at what you've been missing.

I'm glad to read where someone wants to write about something noone else is writing about.
